Stables Ranch GrilleStables Ranch Grille features seasonally inspired Southwest American Cuisine. We proudly serve all natural, grain fed Prime Angus Beef. Beyond beef we offer Pacific Salmon, Dry Aged Pork, Veal, Fresh Local Produce and, flown in daily, Fresh Seafood. Our award winning wine list offers something for everyone.

You can choose to share a cozy booth in the intimate Rock Room, or, when looking out through the majestic arched windows or dining al fresco on the Stables patio, enjoy panoramic views of the Santa Rita Mountains, lush golf course and rustling cottonwoods. Old World accents and attentive, yet relaxed service set the stage for an upscale yet comfortable dining experience.

  • Stables serves seasonally inspired southwest cuisine featuring light and tasty appetizers, homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas, fresh seafood. Most of our ingredients are organic, farm fresh and locally grown. We serve all natural, grain fed, choice Angus beef.

Lunch at La Cantina

Located just outside the Pro Shop is La Cantina, offering quick bites for golfers and resort guests. La Cantina dishes up early morning bagels and Thomas' famous breakfast burritos, a great hot dog, burgers and an excellent Sonoran spiced chicken sandwich. You can also grab a coffee, a muffin, a granola bar or an apple for a quick hit to get you back out on the golf course in a hurry!

Menu

Stables’ menu is a blend of Arizona ingredients and Spanish flair. We use classics such as Serrano ham and Manchego cheese as well as local candied Arizona pecans. Our meats, game and fish are all natural, and everything on the menu is of the freshest and best quality. All of our soups, stocks, sauces and salad dressings are made in-house daily.

Rock Room

The resort was built as a ranch for Spanish settlers in the New World, and guests of Stables Ranch Grille today walk to their dinner tables on the same stone floor that was the foundation of the stables for conquistadors’ horses. That area of the dining room is known as the “Rock Room.”

Chef

Executive Chef John Wooters served a two year apprenticeship under an 'old school' European chef. He was Chef de Cuisine at the prestigious Resort at Squaw Creek and Executive Chef at Montana Avenue, a Fox restaurant concept in Tucson. He joined the Tubac Golf Resort & Spa in 2008 and after a short hiatus has returned as the man in charge of all things delectable.

Live Entertainment

As the week winds down and the weekend comes alive, Stables Ranch Grille features live entertainment on the patio at Stables; the perfect location to watch sunset on the Santa Rita Mountains and to cheer golfers as they tee it up on the Island Green.

Hours

Stables Ranch Grille is open seven days a week.  Breakfast is served from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., and lunch and dinner is served from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.  Our full-service bar is open until 10 p.m.

Decorum

Reservations are recommended and the dress code is resort casual.  Our menu changes seasonally.  Please no cell phones, cigars or pipes.  A gratuity of 18 percent will be automatically added to your bill for parties of eight (8) or more. For Reservations call 520-398-2678.
